Huey Tueng Tao

Huey Tueng Tao Park, located north of the Old City of Chiang Mai, boasts a scenic landscape, as well as many activities. Not surprisingly, the Park is a favourite weekend hangout spot for locals and its attractions should definitely be taken advantage of after the Trio For Justice. Activities in the park range from relaxing by the beautiful lake after the race, to playing football or badminton on the grass. Or you may want to “recover” at one of the park’s Thai Massage shops.

The lake is surrounded by many bamboo hut restaurants, which serve great Thai food, with fish fresh from the lake. There are also private bamboo huts perfect for reading or lazing in the shade. And it’s great fun to cross the lake in the famous Swan Boat pedalos.The many beautiful temples throughout the park also should not be missed.

For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle and take a cycling tour around the lake you just ran around! Or try the Adventure Park within Huey Tueng Tao Park, which offers ATV rentals, paintballing, trampolines and zip-lining.
