And we want you to join in!
Asia Justice Marathon is an annual charity race held every January in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is held in conjunction with the A2J Health & Fitness Fair and A2J Celebration Dinner. Together all three events as known as the Trio for Justice.
Every January, our organization hosts an access to justice awareness raising event called the “Trio for Justice“ at the Huey Tueng Tao Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. All the funds raised from this event will go towards those in need and achieving our vision of greater equality for all. The next Trio for Justice will be on the 21 January 2017 during the 2017 Asia Access to Justice Week. The Trio for Justice is a fun way to learn and raise awareness of the access to justice initiatives in the region while either running, walking or cheering others on as they complete the course.
History of the Trio for Justice
Over the past nine years, the event has grown from 150 participants to over 5,000 prospected in January 2018. This unprecedented growth and development can be contributed to the organization’s expansion and global initiatives in which we represent diversity, such as the Asia Access to Justice Week, Asia CLE Summer School and the Asia Pro Bono Conference, which hosts over 500 delegates from various legal service provisional backgrounds from 27 countries.
Another reason for Trio’s growth is the unique nature it presents. It is the only event that supports social justice to such a large extent across the Asian region. This uniqueness spreads to the Asia Justice Marathon design ethos, which is one for all, including professional or seasoned participants, to be able to see and encourage each other.
